Oh Jen, I feel all of this so much. I've had a similar experience hosting the Selkie Circle, finding myself held and changed by it in ways I didn't expect. ✨ This is the stuff that matters 💮
Oooooh I love this Annette! It's just so alchemical - in creating with others at heart we create change within ourselves 💗 & yes, absolutely, this is the stuff that matters! ❤️🔥
Well this felt like it was written for me:-D Thank you for sharing encouragement and wisdom to lean into my dán. This was such a great course in helping me break through some of the mental and emotional blocks that I and society have put on me.
It was written with you in heart Pauline! 😍 Thanks a million for your ever-kind words and shining heart, I'm genuinely so grateful to walk the path of the dán with you, a stór! xo
Purpose: something I feel like I have lost since I became disabled. Society says your purpose has a lot to do with work. At this point, I can barely walk and the pain is something I have to tend to. But, your first italicized words are what I believe as well. I also believe the words of Joseph Campbell. Or, I did. Until my body was easier. But, I know my bones are star stuff, even when they don’t work.
Janne, buíochas ó chroí for your powerful and moving reflections on purpose and yes it's true that society equates it to what we do for living, which is ironic because we're simultaneously encouraged to do 'real' work. As it's rooted in creativity in the Irish tradition I often see it as poiesis the inner poetry that is alive within us, the star stuff, whatever that might look like 🌟 It's interesting as well the research in purpose is not solely about vocation either. Deep bow to you and your beautiful bones for your wisdom 🧡
