Sounds wonderful, Jen! I didn't know you are a friend of Aoife... I met her at a retreat in the woods last summer run by Lucy and Rosemary, you probably know them too! Aoife was very kind to me, and so multi-talented and knowledgeable. I'm sure this creative retreat will be amazing and transformative for all participants.💕

Ah Ali thanks a million for your gorgeous words, you're so kind, buíochas ó chroí! 💚 That's amazing you know Aoife, I'm loving all of these synchronicities and I sense they'll continue... I'll be seeing Aoife this evening at Tara, she'll be delighted to hear of this thread!

I also want to say I have never seen that interpretation of Dana applied to the Tuatha de Danann, the People of Arts, and yet I've come across references to the Three Gods of Art, who are associated with the landscape here near Bailieborough. It makes sense to me! And I also believe in 'womb' tombs as places of birth, or even rebirth, as well as death, although that's hard to prove. I remember having a conversation about that round the fire at the retreat in the woods last summer, fascinating!💕

I couldn't agree more Ali and it really is fascinating... I feel like the more I know, the less I know, and the more mysterious it all becomes. There's such a richness of possibility here with Irish mythology and the arts. For me at this stage in my life, so much of the mythology has become a mirror of the journey of the soul. Perhaps we'll get to chat about all of this around a fire one day, that would be magic! ✨

What is the cost of the retreat? I’ve been scanning through all the pages and cannot find it :/ can’t attend this year but want to know what to budget if I want to prioritize for a future year

It's wonderful to hear that you're interested in a 2025 retreat Maureen, it's certainly on the cards for myself and Aoife. The cost for Aisling Áes Dána is €2330. This includes all facilitation fees, accommodation, in-house chef so all food is provided, excursion fees, and all transport costs including airport pick-up and drop-off. Plus we have two online workshops and a private learning portal as part of the experience. The only additional cost would be if you wanted to buy something at the gift shop at the Hill of Tara for example. I'll keep you posted on our plans, we'd love to have you on board if the stars align 💜
