A Chairde, Friends,
Today, I share a conversation with my dear sisters,
and , which was one of genuine in-the-thick-of-life riffs about these wild, wild times we find ourselves in. Our intention was to honour International Women’s Day 2025 (and World Book Day today) by showing up live on Substack for the first time and exploring together how we can seek, find and live into the sources of wisdom available to us so we do not, as I share in a quote from Ella Young’s Celtic Wonder Tales, forget to still dream of beauty.“The Earth wails all night because it has dreamed of beauty.”
Brigit in Celtic Wonder Tales by Ella Young, illustrated by Maud Gonne
In fact, as the Earth wails, and our souls wail with her, we must dream of beauty with all of our collective might.
So let Brigid wrap her mantle around you as she does the Earth, given that in ways, Brigid is a Celtic expression of the Anima Mundi, the feminine soul of the world that will never abandon us, and so, we must not abandon her. We wail, we dream, together.
Treacy, Marisa and I invite you to brew a cuppa, wrap a blanket around you as a symbol of Brigid’s tending, and join us in conversation to dream our world forward.
All our love.
