âThe goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.â
Joseph Campbell, Reflections on the Art of Living
A Chairde, Friends,
I couldnât think of a more magical way to spend the evening of a brewing storm and in the best company too, thanks a million for coming along and for your openness to the idea of working with the Gaelic Seasons and Celtic Calendar to bring your creativity to life.
If you missed the live, I hope you find a basket of gifts in our gathering, where we opened a portal to explore:
A guided visualisation to connect with your Celtic Soul Garden and receive gifts from the seasons of Samhain with the Cailleach, Imbolc with Brigid, Bealtaine with Amergin, and Lughnasa with Lugh.
How when we align ourselves to the cyclic rhythm of nature, we are rewarded with the inherent wisdom nature has to offer.
The more organic we become in how we approach our craft, the more natural magic occurs in our lives.
We live in a capitalist system that sees itself separate from nature. Superior even. Capitalism has no interest in the intelligence of nature bar for extraction. Surrender into natureâs intelligence is an act of liberation from capitalism.
Our ancestors believed everything was alive with soul. That our souls are connected to the Anima Mundi, the Worldâs Soul. Every living being on this magnificent mothership beats as one. To work in a way aligned to these principles is deeply honouring of our ancestors.
We cycled through each of the Gaelic seasons reflecting on their energies from earthly, psychological and archetypal perspectives.
We then worked through our four-fold framework on how to align a creative project to the energies of Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine and Lughnasa so that we can work in a more creatively alive and organic way.
I have also included below a full list of the reflection questions and supportive activities you can do for your creative project in each of its seasons.
