🪄 The Celtic Creatives Toolkit is your monthly creative tool or ritual to unlock the magic of your Celtic soul. You can access your growing portfolio of tools here.
A Chairde, Friends,
Fáilte, welcome to this month’s creative ritual, to old and new members. 💛 I hope this practice is one that you will use time and again. I’ve been loving it the past few days, shaking out my stress with the Morrigan!
It is designed to support your creative process—no matter what it is you are desiring to create.
I originally planned to share a ritual around the theme of the hearth, but we'll save that for closer to the dreaming time of the winter solstice. Today, I wanted to share a new guided visualisation called Celestial Creative Flow.
A few years back, I created a similar practice called the Way of the White Cow that people loved, and so it felt time for an upgrade of this meditation.
Celestial Creative Flow
This practice is inspired by the arcane symbol of the goddess or holy woman as the White Cow—a symbol that connects many ancient cultures.
From the bovine energies of Hathor in ancient Egypt to the sacred triad of Bóinn, the Morrigan and Brigid in ancient Ireland—whom you will meet in this practice—to the mystical Flidhais, fairy queen of wild deer, and her wondrous cow, Maol.
As you know, everything I create, including what you will experience today, I create in partnership with the Otherworld. You might call this Spirit, Goddess, God, the Beloved, the Universe... For me, it is the Otherworld of our archetypal ancestors, the Tuatha Dé Danann.
‘Creation is often its own explanation. It is not always logical or well-behaved: it flowers in multitudes. Why not remain alert to the possibility that the spiritual realm, for want of a better term, might be, in the words of novelist Angela Carter, an “unexplored country, a brave new world”?’
